I chose the iconic Mexican Artist Frida Kahlo as the third subject in my limited art series --- "X_Faces", for so many reasons.
Beauty, poise, resilience, her iconic expressionism… I could go on.
She is particularly known for her using her art to challenge ideas on class, race, sexism and postcolonialism and in her later life bed-ridden and in great pain from exacerbated lifelong health issues, never stopped painting, even in bed!
This is one of my digital art series paintings done on a Microsoft Surface Pro with a Surface Pen... one of my unique styles and media challenging what the modern world generally considers 'real art'!"
